Walliseller Triathlon & trail running

Last weekend we had 3 athletes competing at the Walliseller Triathlon (Switzerland) and one at the Trail del Sorbo (Italy).

Jana Perrone took part in the team triathlon (500m-15k-4k) together with her patients from the Altried Foundation and mastered the first discipline, 500m swimming in the pool in 8:05.           Swimming in a crowded lane together with many other athletes was not that easy, but Jana managed it well and had a useful intense session :-)

Two athletes, coached by Jana, participated at the Wallisellen short distance:
Ann-Kathrin Crede and Tim Wegmann had a very wet and cold start to the triathlon season. Only 8 degrees with continuous rain was on the agenda. It was a good opportunity to practice the changes and both crossed the finishline with a solid performance! Proud coach.

A completely different race was on the radar for Diego Ludovici, our x-terra specialist. He raced the trail del Sorbo, near Rome, a 12,5k long trail race with almost 300+
For Diego it was the 3rd race of the season and the 3rd podium! Excellent!
In 48:27 he placed 3rd overall and ran a very fast pace (4:37/km) on this demanding, technical course.

Well done Team!
